Frequently Asked Questions

Be sure to reach out as soon as you have your venue & date booked!
Here in the Adirondack region, it depends on the season your wedding falls on:
- Fall: 1.5 - 2 years
- Spring & Summer: 1 - 1.5 years
- Winter: <1 year
That depends on what’s most important to you and the events of the day.
Most popular is 8 hours, which covers wedding prep through the important parts of the reception.

60-100 images per hour, per photographer
A sneak peek of about 40 images will be sent to your inbox within 48 hours - but usually within 24!
I typically have my galleries complete within 2 months.
Some seasons are quite busy and need a little longer, particularly fall weddings.
I know how excited my couples are to receive their films, so I do my best to get it to them as soon as possible!
6 months usually, but you may request longer.
After 1 year, all files are sent to long term storage, for up to 3 years (or until I have no storage space left!). You will be notified before they are deleted forever from my system - just incase
My standard wedding photography packages include a lead photographer and an assistant, with the option to add a second photographer.
A second photographer allows for more coverage throughout the day - capturing additional angles, moments, and details.
I take pride in building a team that is skilled, friendly, professional, and reliable.
Videography & Content Creation!
Both add some great value to your wedding package.
Photos are great, but video captures voices, emotions and personalities in ways photos cannot. More info here
Content creation captures BTS moments with an iphone. You receive unedited, unlimited photo & video clips the next day! More info here
My passion for capturing memories.
Some photographers focus only on the art, for some it’s just a job.
For me - this is a precious event that I take seriously. I always have my camera up and ready, looking for those special moments. I want you AND your guests to have a great experience!
I’m also very comfortable posing people for portraits, corralling a big crowd, and being flexible on the fly. All important aspects of a wedding photographer

Depending on location, a reasonable travel fee may apply.

My Team
I work with a trusted team of professionals and also have a strong network of reputable photographers and videographers I can call on if someone is unexpectedly unavailable.
My Equipment
I always come prepared with backups - dual card slots, multiple cameras, lenses, and lighting - so your coverage is never at risk.
Weather
I love finding creative ways to capture beautiful portraits regardless of the weather, whether that means clear umbrellas or unique photo locations. Rain or shine, your day will still be wonderful.
Me!
If you hire my team for photo & video, the plan is I will be your lead photographer, and one of my awesome teammates will fill the other roles.
Sometimes my company is hired for video alone. In that case - still me!
Due to this, I only take on a limited number of weddings to ensure each of my clients receives a great experience.
In the event an associate photographer is necessary - you will know in advance. I do not take on weddings to just hire someone else to fill the role.
Absolutely. While I love working with beautiful natural light, I’m very comfortable photographing weddings in all types of lighting situations. Wedding days often include everything from bright outdoor ceremonies to dimly lit receptions, churches where flash isn’t allowed, and evening dance floors.
I always come prepared with both on-camera and off-camera flash so I can adapt to the environment and create flattering, natural-looking light when needed. I also use professional cameras and lenses that perform extremely well in low-light situations, allowing me to capture important moments even in darker venues or during ceremonies where flash isn’t permitted.
No matter the lighting, my goal is always the same: clean, vibrant, true-to-color images that capture the atmosphere of your day beautifully.
I love getting creative! While my main focus is capturing authentic moments and the natural emotion of your day, I always enjoy incorporating a few artistic elements when the moment allows.
If you’re interested in more creative photos, we can plan time for them during our timeline discussion to make sure we have the space to do them well. Throughout the day, I may also incorporate some modern techniques like motion blur, shutter drag, or unique angles to add variety and energy to your gallery.
Time permitting, I also enjoy experimenting with things like light painting or creative drone shots for something truly unique.
And if you have ideas of your own, I’m always happy to hear them — collaboration is part of what makes every wedding gallery unique.
